Columbus Services

This course is held at Licking Heights High School and includes the 24 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours of behind-the-wheel driving that the State requires to get a driver’s license. On the last day of class, students will have the chance to schedule their driving sessions.

To ensure smooth scheduling, please remember that students must bring all required items to their driving sessions. Failure to do so will result in cancellation, with a $30 per hour fee to cover the cancellation and rescheduling. Rescheduling will depend on instructor availability.

*Please wait until you've completed the full 8 hours of driving before scheduling your driver's test. Also, note that we do not arrange driving sessions to accommodate driver's test appointments.

The course fee is $475. There is a 3.5% surcharge for credit or debit card payments, and a minimum $65 fee may apply for home pick-up and drop-off services, depending on your location.

 *Refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee if classes have not started.

Our behind-the-wheel training service provides your student with the 8 hours of driving instruction required by the state.

We have 3 locations: Licking Heights High School, Pickerington High School Central, and Tremont Library in Upper Arlington.

Before scheduling the drives, we need a certificate of completion from either an online course or classroom, along with registration and payment. If you have the certificate, please download it as a PDF and email it to support@cardinaldrivingschool.com.

To ensure a smooth process, please note the following:

* If a student arrives for a drive without the necessary items, the session will be canceled. A fee of $30 per hour will be charged for the cancellation and rescheduling, with the new drive scheduled at the instructor's convenience.

*Please wait until you've completed the full 8 hours of driving before scheduling your driver's test. Also, note that we do not arrange driving sessions to accommodate driver's test appointments.

* The fee for the behind-the-wheel service is $450.00 (plus a 3.5% charge if paying by credit or debit card).

* For an additional fee starting at $65 (depending on your location), we offer pick-up and drop-off services from home or school. Please be aware that drives may be canceled or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances.

* The first drive must take place at a designated meeting location.

 *Refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee if drives have not started.

Upon receiving your registration, payment, and certificate of completion, we will contact you within 2-4 business days to schedule drives.

This service includes the 24-hour online classroom course and the 8-hour behind-the-wheel training, which are required by the state for teenagers to obtain their driver's licenses. The course fee is $510. For the online portion, we have partnered with Aceable.com.

To register for the online course, please click the register button and follow the instructions. When you reach the questions and comments section, please indicate that you are interested in the online combo course. We will then contact you within 2-4 business days to arrange payment and provide you with the course link.

Before scheduling your drives, we require the online certificate of completion. Please download the certificate as a PDF and email it to support@cardinaldrivingschool.com once you have completed the online course.

We offer 3 meeting locations: Licking Heights High School, Pickerington High School Central, and Tremont Library Upper Arlington

You have the option to rent our vehicle for your driver's test if you are a student with Cardinal Driving School. The session includes a one-hour practice session followed by the test at the designated testing site. Scheduling will depend on the availability of our instructors, your schedule, and the BMV's schedule.

The fee for this service starts at $125.00 (plus a 3.5% fee if paying with a credit or debit card), and may vary depending on the BMV location.

*Please note that there will be an additional $35 charge for home pick-up, depending on your address.

Our private drives offer personalized, one-on-one driving lessons with experienced instructors, tailored to help both adults and teens improve their driving skills or learn to drive. These lessons are conducted in two-hour sessions.

The rate for private drives is $75 per hour. For your convenience, we offer a home pick-up and drop-off service for an additional $35.

Our course offers the required 4 hours of behind-the-wheel driving, specifically for individuals over 18 who didn't pass their driving test on the first attempt.
